Whether you are a casual diner or an epicurean, you owe it to yourself to sample the outstanding food at the Meadowlark’s HomeCraft restaurant. It will soon become your favorite bistro in the valley. You will always think of HomeCraft when considering a meal after work, a place to celebrate a special occasion or where to take your family, friends and visitors. We give HomeCraft five sparkling stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last night we were thrilled to enjoy a fabulous meal at HomeCraft, Maggie Valley’s newest eatery at the Meadowlark Motel. It was truly a fine dining experience. The intimate restaurant with its beautiful decor was a teaser of what was to come. Warm welcomes by General Manager, Boyd Burton and Chef Chris started the evening with a friendly family touch. The menu offered a lovely selection of options, all of which sounded incredible.
Having read about the restaurant and looked at the menu, we had high hopes. We were not disappointed. My wife ordered the Za’atar Chicken and I chose the Pan Seared Trout. The chicken was paired with Stewed Tomatoes and Black-Eyed Peas while the trout was accompanied by Rice Pelau and Braised Kale.
Everything was served piping hot by Lorraine and was a veritable taste for the face. The entrees and sides were simply delicious. Every morsel was delectable and perfectly prepared. Even the bread and honey butter were yummy. And yes, we wisely saved room for dessert. The Blackberry Sour Cream Pie topped off our meal with a tangy mix of sweet and sour flavors accented by a sensational homemade graham cracker crust.

Decided to try this place for Thanksgiving dinner – wonderful decision! First, the owner and staff were so nice – and second, the food was absolutely FANTASTIC! We are going back this week to try their regular menu. The live music was a treat – very cool space. Love to find unique places/experiences with great food – and this fits the bill for sure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So HomeCraft just opened and I saw some photos on Facebook and figured I would give it a try. Wow! So good!!! I had the Mountain Goat Salad and Nothing to Wine About with these Ribs (short rib). Also got the Bread Pudding to go for dessert and I could not have been more pleased. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great little restaurant in the original hotel-keepers home. Seven tables, seats about 22 people. Food is amazing. Try the meatloaf. And ribs. Love it!

This place is amazing! Boyd and Lorraine took care of our party of 5 and we shared each other’s chicken, trout, macaroni, braised short ribs, and deviled eggs. All get high ratings. Butterscotch and Blackberry pies also incredible!
